FRED KREYKES has been practicing law in Pella for over 42 years. A graduate of Drake Law School, he is married, has three children and eight grandchildren.
Fred is a member of Wonder Spelen, plus numerous past and current boards and committees.
Fred’s practice focuses on estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, real estate, business transactions, corporations and limited liability companies.
Fred’s hobbies include running, motorcycling, bicycling.
WES CHAPLIN is a 1995 graduate of Central College, and a 1998 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law. He was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1998, and is also licensed to practice in the State of Missouri. Wes has practiced at Kreykes & Chaplin, PLC since 2001.
He and his wife, Michelle, have three grown children. Wes has served in various charitable capacities in Marion County, including as President of the Pella Rotary Club, as an elder at Liberty Evangelical Free Church, as a board member with Marion County United Way, and as legal counsel for Habitat for Humanity and other charitable organizations.
Wes’s legal practice includes representation of clients in family law, personal injury/wrongful death matters, criminal defense, estate planning, commercial transactions, and business planning.
In his free time, Wes enjoys training for and racing in triathlons, playing pickleball and tennis, and volunteering as a high school youth leader in his church’s youth ministry.
DANA VAN GENT grew up in Sheldon, Iowa, and graduated from Central College in 2015. She went on to attend Drake University Law School where she served as the Executive Editor of the Drake Law Review and graduated with high honors in May of 2019. After law school, Dana began her career as a full-time attorney at Kreykes & Chaplin, PLC.
Her practice focuses upon real estate, estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, guardianships/conservatorships, business transactions, corporations and limited liability companies.
Dana and her husband, Kris Van Gent, own Iowa Bike Co., the local bike shop in Pella, Iowa, and love being a part of such a thriving community. She is involved with local bike advocacy and assists numerous local nonprofits with legal advice and grant writing. In her free time, you’ll find Dana enjoying a good book at the local coffee shop, riding a tandem bicycle or cruising on a motorcycle with her husband, and planning her next trip.
JACI NUNNIKHOVEN has been a legal assistant at Kreykes & Chaplin, PLC for over ten years and also serves as the office manager.
Jaci is married and has three beautiful children. When she isn’t busy managing the office or chasing down her kids, she enjoys baking and spending time in the great outdoors by camping with family and friends.
